Dr. Edwards was raised in Simsbury, CT and graduated from Wheaton College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1986. He attended the Oral Roberts University School of Medicine and obtained his MD in 1990. Dr. Edwards completed residency training in Family Medicine at the Washington Hospital outside of Pittsburgh in 1993 and began solo practice in Prospect, eventually founding Prospect Family Medicine in 2000. He is very involved in both the Connecticut and the American Academies of Family Medicine. He serves as the Chief Medical Officer for MPS ACO (founded 2012). He was named a "Top Doc" by Connecticut Magazine in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013.
Renika McLeod-Labissiere, MD
Dr. McLeod was raised in Manhattan and graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1994. She attended the Upstate Medical University of NY and obtained her MD in 2000. Since completing her residency training in Family Medicine at Montifiore in 2003, Dr. McLeod served on the faculty there and then joined Prospect Family Medicine in 2007. She enjoys caring for the entire family, and has special interest in adolescent and women's health issues.
